INTERNATIONAL AUTHORITY FOR GLOBALHUMAN AFFAIRS (IAGHA)

The International Authority for Global Human Affairs (IAGHA) is a fictional institution that emerged from my artistic practice. It translates subjective human experiences that would otherwise remain unexpressed into the languages of systems, giving them a form in the outside world.IAGHA claims jurisdiction precisely where existing systems often have none: over experiences that fall out of or between their categories. This shifts not only how human experience is described, but also what is considered worthy of recognition within a system. The institution treats this jurisdiction as entirely self-evident, pursuing each system’s logic down to the smallest detail and allowing precision, vulnerability, absurdity and humour to exist side by side.
